Community Card Game · Blinds · Pot Limit · Split Pot · 8 Qualifier · 8 Players Max
Overview
Big O is 5-Card Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8-or-Better. Each player receives five hole cards and must use exactly two of them combined with exactly three community cards to make their best hand. The betting is pot-limit: the maximum bet or raise at any time is the current size of the pot. The pot is split between the best high hand and the best qualifying low hand (five unique ranks all 8 or below). If no player qualifies for low, the high hand wins the entire pot.

Key Rules
IMPORTANT: Players must use EXACTLY 2 hole cards + EXACTLY 3 community cards for both their high hand and their low hand. The same two cards or different two cards may be used for each.
What is Pot Limit?
In pot-limit betting, the maximum you can bet or raise is equal to the current total pot size. Pots can grow large quickly as each bet increases the maximum allowed on the next action.
Split Pot
Half the pot goes to the best HIGH hand
Half the pot goes to the best qualifying LOW hand
If no player qualifies for low, the high hand wins the entire pot
The same player can win both halves (a "scoop")
Low Hand Qualification (8 Qualifier)
To qualify for low, a player must make five unique ranks all 8 or lower using exactly 2 hole cards + 3 community cards. Aces count as low. Straights and flushes do not count against a low hand.
Best Low Hand
A-2-3-4-5 (the "wheel") is the best possible low hand. In lowball ranking, lower is better — compare from highest card down.
Five-Card Advantage
With five hole cards you have ten possible two-card combinations — far more ways to connect with the board than standard 4-card Omaha. In split-pot play, look for hands that can scoop (win both halves) by holding low cards that also make strong high hands.
Strategy Tips
A player may use different two-card combinations for high and low hands
Hands containing A-2, A-3, or 2-3 in the hole are valuable starters for low
Five hole cards gives you 10 two-card combinations — far more ways to connect
Look to scoop: win both high and low for the entire pot
If the board runs high, no one qualifies for low and the high hand wins it all
