The short version: this site does not use advertising trackers, does not build a profile of you, and does not sell anything about you to anyone. What follows is the same statement at the length a policy is expected to be.
This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The Player One Poker game at /play/ stores your license and your game settings in your own browser's local storage, on your device, and our free planning tools store your saved plans the same way. None of that is a cookie, none of it is ever transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
There are none. You cannot create one. We hold no username, password, profile, or purchase history tied to a person.
Our hosting provider and our CDN record ordinary web-server request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, and browser user-agent string. These exist to keep the site up and to defend it against abuse. They are not used to identify individuals, are not combined with anything else, and age out on the providers' standard retention schedules.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they read. It is worth being precise about what that does and does not mean, because "analytics" usually implies more than this one does.
It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It does not fingerprint you — Cloudflare explicitly does not identify visitors by IP address, user-agent string, or any other durable attribute, on the reasoning that fingerprinting is worse than a cookie because you cannot opt out of it. There is no visitor profile, no identifier that follows you between pages or between sites, and no way for us to single you out in the numbers. What we see is aggregate: page views, roughly where in the world traffic comes from, and which sites link to us.
Doing this loads a small measurement script from Cloudflare's servers, so
your browser makes a request to cloudflareinsights.com when a page
loads. That is the whole of the third-party involvement.
If you write to us, we receive whatever you put in the form — a topic, the page it concerns, an email address if you want a reply, and your message — and we keep it for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry and any sensible follow-up. Messages are delivered to a private mailbox. They are not added to a mailing list; we do not have a mailing list.
The form is guarded by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam check that sets no cookies on this site, and is rate-limited to stop automated abuse, which involves briefly recording a hashed record of recent submissions. Nothing readable, nothing retained.
Checkout runs on Stripe Managed Payments, under which Link is the merchant of record — Link is the seller on the transaction and handles payment processing, tax, and disputes. Your card details go to them and never touch this site: we do not see, handle, or store a card number, a billing address, or anything else you type into the payment form.
What comes back to us is a confirmation and the email address you used, which is what lets us deliver your license key and answer support or refund requests about that purchase. Their handling of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
Activating Player One Poker sends your license key and a randomly generated device identifier to our licensing service, so the ten-device limit can be enforced. The device identifier is generated on your device and is not derived from hardware, an advertising ID, or anything that identifies you elsewhere. No gameplay data is transmitted — we do not know which variants you play, how often, or how you did.
The only outside services involved in running this site are our web host, our CDN and edge provider, our email delivery for the contact form, and Stripe for payments. Each sees only what it needs to do its job. Nothing about you is sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
Fonts are served from this site, not from a font service — loading a page here requests nothing from Google or anyone else.
This site is not directed at children, and nothing here is knowingly collected from them.
Because we hold so little, most requests are quick to honor. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, or you want to know what is held about a purchase, ask and we will do it. Depending on where you live you may have formal rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we will honor those requests regardless of where you live.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version buried elsewhere that says something different.
Questions about any of this go through the contact form.
