Community Card Game · Blinds · Split Pot · 8 Qualifier
Overview
Crazy Pineapple 8 merges the Crazy Pineapple format with a Hi/Lo split pot. Players receive three hole cards and keep all three through pre-flop betting AND the flop. After the flop betting round, each player discards one card. The pot then splits between the best high hand and the best qualifying low hand (five unique ranks, all 8 or lower, Ace plays low).

Split Pot — The Low Hand
To qualify for the low half of the pot, a player must make a five-card hand with five unique ranks, all 8 or lower, using any combination of hole cards and community cards. Ace plays low. If no player qualifies, the high hand wins the entire pot.
Strategy Tips
The flop tells you which card to discard — this is the key "crazy" advantage over regular Pineapple 8
If the flop brings two low cards, keeping your low hole cards and discarding the high one becomes obvious
Hands with A-2, A-3, or 2-3 in them have strong low potential; suited versions gain flush draws too
Watch for boards with at least three low cards (≤8) — without them, no one can qualify for low
Scooping (winning both high and low) is the goal — A-2-suited gives you the best shot at both
