Crazy Pineapple is similar to regular Pineapple, but players receive three hole cards and discard AFTER the flop betting round instead of before.

Key Rules
- Each player receives THREE hole cards
- Players keep all three cards through pre-flop AND flop betting
- After the flop betting round, players must discard ONE card
- The turn and river play normally with exactly two hole cards
Betting Sequence
- Receive three hole cards
- Pre-flop betting round (with 3 cards!)
- Flop (3 community cards) - now have 6 cards total
- Flop betting round (still with 3 hole cards)
- Discard phase: Each player discards one of their 3 hole cards
- Turn (4th community card) - now have 5 cards total
- Turn betting round
- River (5th community card)
- River betting round and showdown
Important: You have information from the flop before deciding which card to discard. This is the key strategic element of Crazy Pineapple.
Strategy
- Consider potential turn and river cards when discarding
- Look for flush draws, straight draws on the flop
- The flop changes which card is best to keep
- You might have a pair on the flop but also a strong drawing hand
- Evaluate which discard gives you the most outs and flexibility
Example
Your three cards: 
Flop: 
- You now have an Ace-high flush draw (using 3 spades)
- You might have a pair of Aces if an Ace comes
- Discard the (no spades, not high)
- Keep and for the flush draw plus high card potential
Difference from Regular Pineapple
In regular Pineapple, you discard before seeing the flop. In Crazy Pineapple, you see the flop first, giving you more information to make a better discard decision.
Strategy Tips
- Pre-flop play is similar to regular Hold'em
- After the flop, analyze which card is least likely to help your hand
- Look for situations where one card fits the board better than others
- Consider future streets when discarding
