Overview
Criss-Cross Super Hold'em 8 is Criss-Cross Super Hold'em with a split pot. Three hole cards are dealt to each player. At showdown the pot is split between the best high hand and the best qualifying low hand (five unique ranks 8-or-lower, ace counts low). Both halves use the same double-board hand construction options.

The Double Community Board
Two independent 5-card boards are dealt simultaneously, each following standard Hold'em streets:
Flop: 3 cards on each board (6 total); SB acts first
Turn: 1 card on each board (2 total); SB acts first
River: 1 card on each board (2 total); SB acts first
Hand Construction
You hold 3 hole cards and must use one of two options at showdown:
Option A — Single Board (0, 1, or 2 hole cards): Choose one board and build your best 5-card hand using any 0, 1, or 2 of your hole cards with cards from that board. Hold'em rules apply — the board fills the rest. You may not mix cards from both boards.
Option B — Form the Cross (all 3 hole cards): Use all 3 hole cards plus exactly 2 community cards that share the same column position — one from Board 1 and the card directly below it on Board 2. Valid column pairs: positions 1&6, 2&7, 3&8, 4&9, or 5&10.
Split Pot — 8-or-Better Low
The low qualifier requires five unique ranks all 8 or lower (ace counts as low). If no player qualifies for low, the high hand wins the entire pot. You may use different hole cards and different community cards for your high and low hands.
Strategy Tips
With 3 hole cards and 0/1/2 flexibility, you have more freedom than Omaha players when hunting for a low — even 0 hole cards can qualify if the board has five low cards
Two boards give you two independent chances to find low community cards — check each board (and the Option-B column pairs) separately when hunting for a qualifying low
A♣ 2♣ 3♣ is a premium starting hand — potential flush draws on high, wheel draw on low
Option B (3 holes + column pair) is a strong scoop play when all 3 hole cards are low and a column pair completes both a good high and a qualifying low
