DRAMAHA 6

Overview

Dramaha 6 is a Dramaha variant where the draw half is won by the player with the lowest point total. Points are scored as: Aces = 1, face cards (J/Q/K) = 10, all other cards = their pip value (2=2, 3=3, … 10=10). The minimum possible score is 6 points (A-A-A-A-2 = 1+1+1+1+2). The Omaha half uses standard Omaha rules.

Hand Construction

• DRAW HALF: Sum the pip values of all five individual cards after the draw. Lowest total wins. (Poker hand ranks are irrelevant.)
• OMAHA HALF: Best 5-card hand using EXACTLY 2 individual cards + EXACTLY 3 community cards (standard Omaha rules).

Betting Structure

Pre-Flop (SB first) → Flop / 3 cards (SB first) → Draw → Turn / 4th card (BB first) → River / 5th card (BB first) → Showdown

Strategy Tips

• Face cards (J/Q/K) score 10 points each — discard them aggressively to lower your total
• Aces score only 1 point — hold on to aces whenever possible, they're excellent for draw points AND Omaha
• The ideal hand (A-A-A-A-2 = 6) requires four aces; drawing to three aces + small cards is a strong fallback
• Tens (10 pts) are also costly — weigh whether a ten is more valuable for Omaha board connects than the points it costs
• Small cards (2-4) are doubly valuable: low point cost AND great for Omaha low draws
