Overview
Oklahold'em 8 is the Hi-Lo 8-or-Better version of Oklahold'em. Three separate community boards run simultaneously. After the river, the board with the lowest river card is eliminated. Players use Hold'em rules — any combination of hole cards and community cards from one surviving board — for both the high and low hands.

Board Removal: After all rivers are dealt, the board with the lowest river card is eliminated. If two boards tie, both are removed. If all three tie, none are removed. Players may only use surviving boards.

Three separate community boards (A, B, C) each receive a flop, turn, and river — 15 community cards total
After the river, the board with the lowest river card is eliminated
Hand Construction (Hold'em Rule)
Players make the best 5-card hand using any combination of their 2 hole cards and the 5 community cards of one surviving board. Unlike Omaha, there is no restriction on how many hole cards must be used. You may pick a different board for your high and low hands.
Split Pot — Hi/Lo 8-or-Better
High: Best standard 5-card poker hand using any cards from your hand and one surviving board
Low: 5 unique unpaired ranks all 8 or lower (aces count low). Must use cards from one surviving board — no Omaha hole-card restriction
If no player makes a qualifying low, the high hand wins the entire pot
You may use different boards and different hole-card combinations for high vs. low
River Card Ranking (for Elimination)
2 is lowest, Ace is highest. Standard rank order: 2 < 3 < 4 < 5 < 6 < 7 < 8 < 9 < 10 < J < Q < K < A
Difference from Oklahoma
Oklahoma uses 4 hole cards with the Omaha rule (exactly 2 + 3 community). Oklahold'em 8 uses only 2 hole cards with Hold'em freedom — you can use 0, 1, or 2 of your hole cards for either hand.
Strategy Tips
Nut-low draws that work across multiple boards protect you from board elimination
Low boards (river 2 or 3) are almost certain to be eliminated — don't over-invest in low draws there
A♣ 2♥ is a powerful starting hand — it scoops high on a paired board and wins low elsewhere
Big pairs gain power from King-heavy boards that are likely to survive (high river)
Track which boards are supporting your low draw — if one is eliminated, you may need another board to qualify
