PINEAPPLE

Overview

Pineapple is similar to Texas Hold'em, but players receive three hole cards instead of two. Each player must discard one of their hole cards before the first betting round.

Key Rules

• Each player receives THREE hole cards
• Before the first betting round, each player must discard ONE card
• Players then proceed with exactly two hole cards (like Hold'em)
• The rest of the game plays exactly like Texas Hold'em

The Deal

• Players receive three private cards face down
• All players simultaneously discard one of their three cards
• Pre-flop betting round (each player now holds two cards)
• The flop is dealt (three community cards)
• Betting proceeds normally
• Turn and River are dealt as usual

Strategy

• The extra card gives you more information about your hand
• Evaluate all three card combinations before discarding
• Consider what cards might have been discarded by others
• Discard the card that gives you the least flexibility
• If all three cards are strong, discard the one least likely to improve your hand
