PLO8 Flip is Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo played with antes instead of blinds. The pot splits between the best high hand and the best low hand (five unique ranks 8-or-lower). Players must use exactly two hole cards and exactly three community cards for each half.

Each player receives four private hole cards face-down.
Hand Formation Rule
IMPORTANT: Players must use exactly 2 hole cards and exactly 3 community cards to form each half of their hand. A player may use different hole/community card combinations for their high hand vs. their low hand.
Split Pot — 8 Qualifier
The pot is split between:
High: Best standard five-card poker hand
Low: Five unique ranks all 8-or-lower (ace counts as 1). If no player qualifies for low, the high hand wins the entire pot.
Betting Rounds
Pre-Flop: After hole cards are dealt
Flop: Three community cards revealed
Turn: Fourth community card revealed
River: Fifth community card revealed
Strategy Tips
Starting hands with A-2 or A-3 are premium — they can win both halves
Scooping (winning both high and low) is the goal
Remember: you need 3 low cards on the board to make a qualifying low
Antes create immediate pot equity — lean toward aggression with scoop hands
