Stud Game — Split Pot (Razz A-5 / Badugi) · 8 Players Max
Overview
Razzdugi is a 7-card stud split-pot game. Aces are LOW in both halves. The pot splits between the best 5-card A-5 Razz low hand and the best 4-card Badugi hand (lowest four unique ranks and suits, aces low). A perfect starting hand can scoop both pots.

Ante & Bring-In
All players post an ante. Aces are LOW. The player with the highest door card brings in (High Card Bring-In — ace is low, so King is worst).
Split Pot: Razz Half (A-5)
Best 5-card A-5 Razz low hand: aces low, straights and flushes ignored. Best hand is A-2-3-4-5 (the wheel).
Split Pot: Badugi Half
Best 4-card Badugi hand: four cards with unique ranks AND unique suits, evaluated lowest to highest. Aces are LOW (best), unlike RazzBadeucey. A-2-3-4 rainbow is the best possible Badugi.
Best Badugi: A-2-3-4 rainbow (one card of each suit)
A 4-card Badugi always beats any 3-card Badugi
Among equal-length Badugis, compare highest card (lower is better)
Best Scooping Hand
A♠ 2♦ 3♣ 4♥ (one of each suit) plus any additional low cards. This gives A-2-3-4-5 for Razz and A-2-3-4 rainbow for Badugi — a perfect scoop.
Strategy Tips
Aces are good in BOTH halves here — collect them eagerly
Suit diversity is critical: four different suits in your first four cards is an elite start
Pairs kill your Razz hand; duplicate suits kill your Badugi — avoid both
A 3-card Badugi with the wheel is a strong position — you win Razz and lead Badugi if opponents can't complete a 4-card
