Community Card Game · Blinds · Split Pot · 8 Qualifier · 8 Players Max
Overview
Scrotum 8 plays like Scrotum — 5 hole cards dealt face-down, players discard 0–4 cards (placing discards under their wager), and remaining cards are spread face-up and capped. Community cards follow the standard Hold'em pattern. The pot is split: the high hand wins one half using all remaining hole cards plus community cards. The lowest unique rank sum wins the other half — calculated from the remaining hole cards using only ranks Ace through 8 (A=1, 2=2, … 8=8), each rank counted once regardless of pairs. Ranks 9 through King score zero. If tied for low, neither splits — both halves go to high.
Low scoring: Only Ace through 8 count (A=1, 2=2, … 8=8). Each distinct rank is counted once — pairs do not double the score. Ranks 9–K score zero. The player with the lowest total among their remaining hole cards wins Low. Keeping low cards (A–8) wins the low half; keeping high cards wins the high hand.

Low Scoring Example
If your kept hole cards are A♣ 2♦ 3♥ 5♠ your low score is 1+2+3+5 = 11 points. If an opponent kept A♦ 6♦ 7♥ their score is 1+6+7 = 14 points. Your 11 beats their 14 — lower total wins.
Strategy Tips
Keeping A-2-3 gives you a very low score — strong low candidate
High pairs (K-K, Q-Q) score zero for Low but win the High half easily
You cannot split your kept cards — all must be used for both High and Low evaluation
Watch opponents' face-up cards to calculate their potential low scores
Scooping both pots requires a hand that is both high-ranking and contains low ranks
