Stud Game — High/Low Split (No Qualifier) · 8 Players Max
Overview
Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo Regular is a split-pot variant where the pot always splits — there is no qualifier for either half. Every hand produces both a high winner and a low winner, using any five of the player's seven cards for each direction.

The Deal & Streets
Third Street: Two cards face-down + one face-up (door card)
Bring-In: Player with highest door card must bet (High Card Bring-In)
Fourth–Sixth Streets: One face-up card; best low showing acts first
Seventh Street: One face-down card; final betting round
No Qualifier — Pot Always Splits
Unlike 8-or-better variants, there is no qualifier in Hi/Lo Regular. Every hand produces a high winner and a low winner. The best five-card high hand wins half the pot; the best five-card low hand (using any five cards, aces play low) wins the other half.
A player can use different sets of five cards for their high and low hands.
Bring-In
The player with the highest door card on third street must bring in the bet. On fourth street and beyond, the player with the best low visible hand acts first.
Strategy Tips
No qualifier means every hand competes for low — high pairs, two-pair, and trips all have low hands too (just worse ones)
Scooping (winning both halves) is the goal: a wheel (A-2-3-4-5) makes both the best low hand and a straight for high
High-only hands (big pairs, trips, flushes) typically only win half the pot; plan accordingly
Track opponents' upcards — a player showing all low cards is drawing for low; visible high pairs signal high-only direction
