Community Card Game · Blinds · Split Pot · 8-or-Better Low Qualifier · Expose 2 Cards After Flop
Overview
Showmaha 8 combines the expose mechanic of Showmaha with a high-low split pot and 8-or-better low qualifier. After the flop, each player exposes two of their four hole cards. The Omaha rule applies for both high and low hands. Exposed cards can telegraph your low or high draw — strategic card selection is critical.

The Expose Rule
KEY RULE: Immediately after the flop, every player MUST expose two of their four hole cards. Players choose which two. In Showmaha 8, exposing your A-2 combination signals a low draw — a strategic choice with real consequences.
Split Pot
High: Best 5-card hand using exactly 2 individual + 3 community
Low: Five cards, all 8 or lower, five unique ranks (A counts as low). Lowest hand wins. If no qualifying low, the high hand scoops.
The Expose & Low Strategy
Showmaha 8's expose mechanic adds a unique strategic layer to hi-lo play:
Exposing A-2 signals a low draw to the entire table — opponents can estimate your low potential
Hiding your A-2 (exposing other cards) can disguise your low draw
Exposed cards cannot be taken back — the information is permanent for the rest of the hand
Both high and low hands use exactly 2 individual (any combo exposed/hidden) + 3 community
