SOHE 3-1-1

Community Card Game · Blinds · Split Pot (Hold'em / PLO) · 8 Players Max · 5 Cards · Shared Middle Card

Overview

SOHE 3-1-1 deals 5 individual cards to each player, who separates them 3-1-1 (cap cards) before the flop. The Omaha hand is the middle card plus the group of 3 (4 cards total). The two single cards form the Hold'em hand — and the middle card is common to both hands. The same 5 community cards are used for both halves: Hold'em (any 5 of 7) and Omaha (exactly 2 individual + 3 community).

Key Rules

IMPORTANT: Each player separates their 5 cards as 3-1-1 (cap cards) before the flop. The Omaha hand = middle card + group of 3. The Hold'em hand = middle card + single card. The middle card is in BOTH hands. Once set, changing fouls the hand.
