Community Card Game · Blinds · Split Pot · 8-or-Better Low Qualifier · Spade Fallback
Overview
Stampler is an Omaha Hi-Lo 8-qualifier game: best 5-card Omaha hand (exactly 2 individual + 3 community) wins the high half; lowest 5 unique ranks A–8 wins the low half. The twist: if no low is possible on the board (fewer than 3 cards ranked 8 or below), the player with the highest spade in the hole wins the low half instead. A player can scoop both halves.

Key Rules
IMPORTANT: Hand formation is Omaha — exactly 2 individual cards + exactly 3 community cards. The low must be 5 unique ranks all 8 or below (8-or-better qualifier). If the board doesn't have at least 3 cards ranked 8 or lower, no low is possible — the highest spade in the hole wins half instead.

The Deal & Flow
Pre-Flop: Each player receives 4 face-down cards → Bet
Flop: 3 community cards face up → Bet
Turn: 1 community card → Bet
River: 1 community card → Bet → Showdown
Split Pot
HIGH HALF: Best 5-card Omaha hand (exactly 2 individual + 3 community)
LOW HALF: Lowest 5 unique ranks A–8 using exactly 2 individual + 3 community. Ace plays low.
FALLBACK (no qualifying low): If the board has fewer than 3 cards ranked 8 or below, the player with the highest-ranked spade among their hole cards wins the low half
If no qualifying low AND no player holds a spade in the hole, the high hand scoops the entire pot
Strategy Tips
Hands with A-2 suited in spades are very powerful — they work for the low hand AND as a fallback spade
When a low board is unlikely, a high spade becomes a backup pot winner
The A♠ in the hole gives you the best fallback and contributes to low draws
Unlike standard Omaha Hi-Lo 8, you can never be "left out" of the low half if you hold a high spade
