Stud Game — 7-Card Stud High with Initial Discard · 6 Players Max
Overview
Super Stud is a 7-card stud variant where each player receives four cards face-down plus one face-up door card. After the bring-in bet, each active player calls or raises and simultaneously discards two of their four hole cards, then play continues like standard 7-card stud with three more streets. Best 5-card high hand wins.

Strategy Tips
Starting with 4 hole cards gives you a tremendous selection advantage — evaluate all six possible pairs before committing two to your hand
Prefer pairs and high connectors in your kept holes; fold when your best two hole cards don't complement your door card
Pay attention to which opponents discard quickly vs. slowly — confident discards often signal a made hand in their two kept cards
Door card visibility means your opponents can read your board; keep hidden cards that strengthen what isn't visible
