2 OR 5 OMAHA 8

Community Card Game · Blinds · Split Pot · 8 Qualifier · 8 Players Max

Overview

2 or 5 Omaha 8 combines the "2 or 5" choice with a split pot. Each player receives five hole cards and at showdown chooses Option A (exactly 2 hole cards + 3 community cards) or Option B (all 5 hole cards, no community cards). The pot is split between the best high hand and the best qualifying low hand (five unique ranks all 8 or below). A player may use Option A for one direction and Option B for the other.
