Community Card Game — Extra Hole Card Dealt at the Flop
Overview
Upside-Down Pineapple flips the Pineapple format on its head. Instead of starting with three hole cards and discarding one before the flop, players start with just two hole cards (like Texas Hold'em), then receive a third individual card alongside the flop. After flop betting, players discard one of their three hole cards — then turn and river play out normally. Best five-card hand wins from any combination of individual and community cards.

Flop: Three community cards + one individual card are dealt simultaneously to each player. SB acts first.
Discard: Each active player discards exactly one of their three hole cards.
Turn: One community card. BB acts first.
River: One community card. BB acts first. Showdown.
Final Hand
Best five-card poker hand from any combination of your two remaining hole cards and the five community cards. No Omaha restriction — use 0, 1, or 2 hole cards freely.
Strategy Tips
Pre-flop play resembles Texas Hold'em — you only have two cards and no idea what your third will be
The flop transforms your decision: now you see three board cards AND your new hole card simultaneously before discarding
Discard the hole card that fits the board least — the flop gives you maximum information at the critical moment
The "upside-down" twist creates wild swings: you might start strong pre-flop only to receive a useless third card, or start modest and suddenly hit a powerful combination at the flop
